SGT-A10 Specific Gravity Tester determines the theoretical maximum specific gravity of bituminous mixtures following the ASTM D2041 Standard Test Method for Theoretical Maximum Specific Gravity of Bituminous Mixtures (Vacuum process). It utilizes single-chip machine technology to shake a loose asphalt mixture sample submerged in water. Vacuum is applied to the sample to extract air bubbles.
